If you’re interested in our Islands, it's so easy to take a tour, and this Saturday there's a special historical island tour in Iniskerragh and Arranmore just off the coast of Burtonport. To be honest most people I speak to mention these island tours, they are really special so this is a fantastic chance to learn and connect with our heritage. If you've never walked the Old Railway Line, you absolutely should, lovely to do with your family. Here's a short video that captures the history and beauty of the railway line.

On Saturday 19th June, Rock agus Roam, Gola Island, and Unique Ascent are having photos taken for the Wild Atlantic Way Ap - we're all "secret gems" on the world wide Ap. Isn't that awesome!. Calling on everyone to come and help us create the scene, all you have to do is get the boat, try rock climbing, there'll be music, local folk, craic and possibly even a few dolphin sightings. And more importantly there will be sunshine at 7pm. So from 4-8pm. Bígí Linn.

6 – Calling all craftspeople

The Tir Connell Stone Festival is on in Glencolmcille, it's on this weekend the 19th June, and it sounds awesome! With a dry stone walling workshop, stone sculpting and letter carving, live music and lots more. Our guest waller this year is Inis Oirr master waller PADRAIG POIL. Padraig has spent most of his life building walls around Inis Oirr Island. Do you need a reason to visit Glencolmcille?

7 - Experience Tory Island:

This trip to Tory island takes place on the 13th August, and is guided by Dr. Brian Lacey, who will take us on an archaeological expedition! WE’LL MEET MY FAVOURITE KING! Have lunch, then time to chill and enjoy the story of the island. mngTours can plan a trip to Tory anytime.
